Who we are and what we have is to somehow show God's mercy and love.
In the midst of the Covid-19 crisis we want to be an agent of God's mercy and love. With social distancing guidelines in place this has become a bit of a challenge. However Adventist Community Services (ACS) and Advent Health in connection with several other organizations have teamed up to try to fills some gaps that have put some groups of people at risk. As you know some individuals and organizations are short on personal protective equipment (PPE) and other personal care items. I have included a recent bulletin forwarded to me from ACS that will give you a better idea as to how you may want to be involved. Items being accepted for donations are listed on the last page of the .pdf attached to this newsletter. As other opportunities are clarified for volunteers I will forward that information to you. This effort will serve 9 counties associated with the Kansas City and greater Kansas City area on both sides of the state line.
