"Developing passionate followers of Christ who love God and serve people."
While this is indeed "week 30", there is no school taking place as we are now on Spring Break! The first three quarters of the school year are done, and when school starts up again it will be the "Quarter of Graduation" for the Class of 2024. (feel free to give them three cheers, and hope that Senioritis doesn't strike too hard)
During the last week of Quarter Three, our K-8 students presented their Science Fair projects and there was lots of good science available. From silkworms to tastebuds, erupting volcanoes, compost and plants, there were lots of exhibit experiments, it was a great show of scientific exploration! Check out some pics from the show because, well, Science!
Midland Adventist Academy will host 130 middle school students in grades 5-8 for the Cantus Music Festival on Thursday, March 21. Students from Nebraska, Kansas and Missouri will rehearse songs during the day and perform them at New Haven church in a concert at 5:00 p.m.
This year's theme is My Maker's World and the scripture emphasis is Isaiah 55:12. You will live in joy and peace. The mountains and hills will burst into song, and the trees of the field will clap their hands!
Come and support these talented young singers!
Congratulations to our school Spelling Bee champions! They will compete in the regional Spelling Bee on March 21. It will take place at New Haven SDA Church at 6:00 pm.

Did you know... that over the past five GPAC basketball tournaments, Midland's varsity teams have taken six firsts, a second and a third, plus six MVP awards? That's some good basketball!
This week is also the first ever GPAC All-Conference game. Midland was represented by Emma Dean (4 points), Kaitlyn Skinner (10 points), Lydia Josiah (29 points), Josue Eliosa, and Elijah Hysten. Congrats on this well-deserved recognition.
Midland's Senior Class of 2024 will be hosting the annual Talent Show on Sunday, March 24. You will be able to watch wonderful acts performed by our very own wonderful students! Auditions will take place March 4, so get your act together and try out!
There will also be a brunch Waffle Bar available if you're feeling hungry for lunch. Tickets are $8 a person with students only $5. Put it on your calendar - you won't want to miss it.

Every time a new year begins, and I see all these amazing faculty / staff who are devoting their time and attention to the education of our children, not just in the books, but in their spiritual walk as well, I am overwhelmed. It is worth every penny!
